At Epic, academic excellence and personal wellbeing go hand in hand. Our Academic and Pastoral Care programs are designed to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential — both in the classroom and beyond it.
Through a structured academic framework, we inspire intellectual curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Teachers work closely with students to provide personalised guidance, monitor progress, and celebrate success. Equally, our pastoral approach focuses on emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience — helping each child develop a strong sense of belonging and confidence.
From mentoring programs and student leadership opportunities to wellbeing initiatives and counselling support, we ensure that learning at Epic is a holistic experience — where care, compassion, and excellence shape every journey.
Scholarship recipients receive a reduction in their tuition and/or boarding fees for the duration of their time at EPIC.
Both means-tested and non-means-tested categories are available for each type of scholarship.

Applications for scholarships for Academic Excellence, General Excellence and Boarding for 2027 entry are now closed.
Our next scholarship intake year is 2028 for Years 7, 9 and 10 entry.
Applications for First Nations Scholarships are accepted at any time.
Academic Excellence Scholarships
Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence across a broad range of disciplines.
Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded based on the results of an academic test and supporting documentation provided at the time of application, as well as an interview with the Director of Extension Studies or nominated delegate. Interviews will be held either in person or via video conference, depending on the applicant’s location.

Hifz Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate excellence in the memorisation and recitation of the Holy Qur'an, alongside their academic commitments.
Selection is based on an assessment of Hifz proficiency, academic records, and an interview with the Head of Islamic Studies. Applicants must show a high level of dedication to both spiritual and secular education.

Eligibility for EPIC scholarships is based on a student's citizenship status, academic performance, and alignment with the School’s values.
Generally, scholarships are open to Australian citizens or permanent residents. Each category (Academic, Hifz, Boarding) has specific criteria regarding year level entry. Please review our admissions policy for full details.
